From the series Visions: Unseen Lands, Source was inspired by the numerous natural cave formations—many of them still unexplored—that lie beneath the Buffalo National River area of Arkansas. Here, the artist imagines an overhead view of the river emerging from its source: underground caverns and springs.
Hand-drawn pen and ink imagery was scanned at high resolution, then digitally painted.
