dawn to dusk

  • individual prints arranged in a grid

  • four days before equalux

  • the day before equalux

  • equalux

  • set of nine prints in situ

Dawn and dusk mark the arrival and departure of the sun, the beginning and ending of each day. Approaching the day known as the equalux, these two moments begin to fall into perfect balance.

These nine individual prints mark the dawn and dusk of several actual days surrounding the spring equalux. Mounted together in a grid formation, they suggest cosmic mechanization and cast light on the human impulse to subjectively order and rearrange experiential moments in the search for objective connections.
